On-site across Chicagoland

Put an agent to work for your business.
You keep the keys.

We build and run agents for our own products every day. Now we set them up for businesses across Chicagoland — starting with a small job you do the same way every day, on hardware you own, with you approving anything that goes out.

How we build your agent, in four steps.

The same recipe every time, starting with the small, repeatable jobs.

01

Find the right repetitive task

We start with the small jobs you do the same way every day: answering the same questions, confirming appointments, chasing an invoice. Those are the ones an agent handles reliably. Your first workflow is part of the build, and each additional workflow is $1,000.

02

Set up the computer it runs on

We install the agent framework on a computer you already have, or on one we supply with an Appliance Install. Either way it sits in your building and it is yours.

03

Connect the right AI provider and model

AI providers and models differ in cost, speed and how well they handle a given job. We explain the options in plain terms, pick one that fits the workflow, and wire the agent to it.

04

Connect the tools you already use

Your inbox, calendar, invoicing and the spreadsheet everyone edits. We build the skills that let the agent use them, then test with real examples from your business before it goes live.

About our experience

We can share success stories from other customers as examples of what an agent could do for you. We bring that experience to every first conversation, and the patterns we have seen across businesses shape which workflows we recommend you start with. We also build and run these agents for our own products every day, so we can tell you plainly what they do well and where they fall short.

What affects the Workflow Build price

The $3,000 starting price covers

  • One repeatable task, automated from start to finish.
  • A connection to one tool you already use, such as your inbox, calendar, or invoicing.
  • Choosing the AI provider and model that fit the workflow.
  • It runs on a computer you already have, or on a hosted setup. You bring the device.
  • On-site setup anywhere in Chicagoland.
  • Testing with real examples from your business before it goes live.
  • Two weeks of adjustments after it goes live.

The price goes up if

  • A tool has no direct connection, so we have to build a workaround.large effect
  • It needs to connect to more tools.medium effect
  • Your records are messy or inconsistent and need cleaning up first.medium effect
  • You want more than one workflow at the start, at $1,000 each.medium effect
  • Your network needs work first, such as the router, Wi-Fi, or cabling.small effect
  • More than one person needs to approve the work along the way.small effect

We put the price in writing before we begin. It only changes if the job changes.

More about the Workflow Build

AI usage is extra. You pay the AI provider directly for what the agent uses, separate from our prices. The amount depends on how complex the workflow is, how often it runs and what the provider charges. Light use is usually modest; heavy use costs more. We know the pricing plans and model capabilities and will give you options before you commit.

Founding clients. Our first ten clients pay our launch prices: builds from $1,800, additional workflows $600, and Remote Care $350 a month, in exchange for a short testimonial we can share.

Workflow Map

One working session.
A written plan within two days.

Bring a task you repeat every week. You leave knowing what to build first, what to leave alone, and what it would cost. No retainer, and the $250 counts toward any build you go on to commission.

What you bring

  • A task you do the same way, over and over.
  • Roughly how it runs today, including the parts that are improvised.
  • The software you already pay for.
  • Anything you would never hand to a machine.

What comes back

  • Which parts an agent can take on, and which still need you.
  • The smallest first build worth doing, scoped.
  • What it would cost to build, and what it would cost to keep running.
  • Which AI provider and model suit the task, and roughly what they cost to use.
  • An honest note if the answer is a clearer process and no agent at all.
$250

One-time. Credited against any build.

Not ready to pay for an hour? Send us the workflow for free and we'll write back within 24 hours.

Workflow Build / Appliance Install

Your computer or ours.
The same build.

Every build is the same agent and the same workflow. The only choice is the computer it runs on.

Workflow Build

On a computer you already have

From $3,000
  • — Bring your own device. We set the agent up on it, on site.
  • — Your first workflow, built, tested and running.
  • — If your computer needs extra security work, the quote says so before we start.
Appliance Install

On hardware we supply

From $3,000 + hardware
  • — Everything in the Workflow Build.
  • — We choose the computer, set it up, secure it and install it on site.
  • — Need the AI itself to run on site? We size the hardware for it.
  • — The hardware is yours to keep.

How it gets installed

Three to four weeks, start to finish.

Week 1

Workflow Map

We pick the task to start with and put the price in writing.

Week 2

Install day

We set up the agent on your computer or ours and run the first job with you.

Weeks 3–4

Drafts, then live

The agent prepares work and sends nothing until you are happy with it.

Securing it

  • — Nothing on the internet can reach the agent directly.
  • — The agent runs on its own limited account.
  • — The disk is encrypted.
  • — With Remote Care, updates are tested before they're applied.

Included with the Appliance Install. On your own computer, any extra security work is in the quote. We hold no security certification.

Remote access, only with Remote Care

If you choose Remote Care, we add the agent's computer to our private network (a VPN). That lets us, and our agents, reach it to check on it and fix it. Once we hand it over, nothing of ours connects to it unless you choose Remote Care.

Not sure which fits? Tell us how you work and we will recommend one.

Remote Care

Month thirteen is
where this usually fails.

Plenty of people will build you an agent and support it for sixty days. Then the support window closes, something drifts, and the thing quietly stops being trusted. Remote Care is the part that keeps it alive — and it is optional, because the agent and its computer are yours either way.

Remote Care

We can reach it, so we can look after it.

$450per month
  • — Your agent's computer joins our VPN, so we and our agents can reach it
  • — Monitoring, with an alert to us when something stops working
  • — Nightly backups of config, memory, skills and data, to a location you choose
  • — Basic repairs, done remotely
  • — Updates, tested first, with a way to undo them
  • — A reply within 24 hours
  • — Cancel any month

Where the backups actually go

You choose where backups go. If the agent and the AI both run on site so that nothing leaves the building, backups go to hardware you nominate on site and stay there. Otherwise they go encrypted off-site, which is safer against fire and theft. We will not quietly pick the one that contradicts what we told you on the appliance page.

What Remote Care does not cover.

Worth reading before you sign up, not after something breaks.

Larger fixes

Basic repairs are included. Anything bigger is quoted before we start, so you decide first.

New workflow builds

Scoped and built at $1,000 each. Remote Care keeps what exists running; it is not an unlimited build budget.

Hardware failure beyond the swap terms

We will help you get a replacement in and restored, but the machine is yours and so is its warranty.

Your internet connection and local network

If the business's internet is offline, the agent is reachable only from inside it. That is your ISP, not us.

Third-party outages and price changes

When a model provider goes down or changes what it charges, we will tell you and adapt. We cannot prevent it.

Recovering data you deleted

Backups run nightly. Anything removed between runs is gone, and we will say so rather than imply otherwise.

Service area

Wherever you are in Chicagoland, an install means someone in the room with you, not a screen-share and a shipping label. No travel charge.

Outside Chicagoland?

The build work travels fine over a call. What does not travel is the on-site install and the same-day hands on a machine, so we will say plainly whether distance makes the appliance a bad fit for you, and suggest another way to run it.

FAQs

The ones that come up first.

What will the AI itself cost?

You pay the AI provider directly for usage, separate from our prices. It depends on how complex the workflow is, how often it runs and what the provider charges, so we cannot give one number up front. Heavy use costs more than light use. We know the pricing plans and model capabilities, and we will lay out the options for your workflow before you commit.

Which agent platform do you install?

OpenClaw and Hermes are the two we prefer and recommend, because they are what we run ourselves. We are not locked to them — we also work with Muse, Grokbot and others. The right answer depends on your workflow, not on what we like.

Do I have to buy hardware?

No. A build can run on a machine you already have, or hosted. The appliance is for owners who specifically want the agent on their own box, and it is theirs outright.

What happens when it breaks?

Remote Care covers it: we reach the agent over our VPN, make basic repairs and reply within 24 hours. Larger fixes are quoted first, and you can cancel any month. Without it, the computer is still yours and still runs — you just do not have us on call.

Will it send things to my customers on its own?

Not unless you decide it should, and we will tell you where we think that line belongs. By default it drafts and queues, and a person approves anything that leaves the building.

Where would an agent
actually help?

Tell us about a task you repeat every week. We read it properly and write back within 24 hours with where an agent would help, where it would not, and what we would do first.

No call

You write, we write back. Nothing to schedule.

No pitch

If the honest answer is a clearer process and no agent, we say so.

No charge

We take on a handful of these a week, so there is a real limit.

Walk us through something you do the same way every time — the smaller and more routine, the better.

Just as useful to us as the rest. It tells us where the line is.

Please leave out logins, card or bank numbers, medical details, and anything a customer told you in confidence. How we handle what you send.
